Tidal Bore Viewing – View the tidal bore as it moves up the Salmon River twice daily at predicted times on the incoming Fundy tide.

Visitor Information Centre – Learn about the incredible Bay of Fundy and the many exciting things to see and do in the area from friendly staff. Closed for the winter; we will re-open in May 2025, 9 am – 5 pm daily.

Washrooms – We have well maintained, accessible washroom facilities for those just stopping by or spending the day.  Family/accessible washroom open daily Dec 2 – Apr 30, 9 am – 5 pm. Other washrooms are closed for the winter. 

Picnic areas – Enjoy your lunch under the beautiful, timber frame picnic shelter beside the playground, or at one of several picnic tables in the shade or the sun.

Playground – Children will enjoy the great natural playground with a Bay of Fundy theme, while adults enjoy the view.

Trail – Walk along the Salmon River atop dykes first constructed by the Acadians before exploring the nearby Cobequid Trail with another great walking or cycling experience.

Welcome cyclists! – Fundy Discovery Site is Bike Friendly Certified. We have bicycle racks, a repair stand, and other amenities.   

Electric vehicle charging stations – Two Universal SAE J1772 connectors (Level 2) are available onsite.
